Hey everyone, hope you’re having an amazing day today. Today, I’m gonna show you how to make a special dish, chicken shawarma. One of my favorites. For mine, I’m gonna make it a little bit tasty. This will be really delicious.

Chicken Shawarma is one of the most favored of recent trending foods in the world. It’s easy, it’s fast, it tastes delicious. It is appreciated by millions every day. They’re fine and they look fantastic. Chicken Shawarma is something which I have loved my whole life.

The ingredients needed to make Chicken Shawarma:
  1. Prepare 2 bamboo skewers soaked in water
  2. Take aprox 6 chicken thighs
  3. Prepare 1 tbsp paprika
  4. Prepare 1 tsp cumin
  5. Make ready 1 tsp ground coriander
  6. Get 2 garlic cloves
  7. Get 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  8. Get 1/2 tsp dried mint
  9. Get 1/2 dried thyme
  10. Get 1 lemon
  11. Get oil
  12. Take fresh coriander
  13. Take red onions
  14. Make ready pittas or flat breads to serve
  15. Take salad of your choice to serve
  16. Take mint yoghurt, garlic mayo, chilli sauce to serve
Steps to make Chicken Shawarma:
  1. Firstly get your chicken marinated. Mix all your herbs and spices (not the fresh coriander), garlic and juice of half the lemon into and pestle and mortar and mix with a little oil. Massage the marinade into your chicken and leave, overnight if you can but a few hours will work too.
  2. Next cut a big potato in half and flat side down pop onto a baking tray, put two skewers into the potato. next layer your chicken thighs on top of the potato thrpough the chicken skewers until you have what resembles a chicken kebab. place the other half of your lemon on top to secure everything in place and to allow the lemon juice to keep your chicken moist in the oven…
  3. In a preheated oven (210) put your chicken in and leave for about 45 mins, it wont dry out, until the edges are all gnarly and dark.
  4. Whilst your chicken is cooking, prep all your salads, sauces and wrap etc
  5. When your chicken is all cooked through, take out and let it rest for a few minutes then carve down the sides with a sharp knife like you would any kebab.
