- Fold one end of the shape to cover the other. Brush the pies with the egg wash and bake in a preheated oven for 40 minutes until brown.
Place potatoes and carrots in a large saucepan; add water to cover. Place a spoonful of chicken mixture onto each rectangle and fold the pastry over in half.
