- Get Paprika powder little bit
- Make ready Tarqa rice
- Prepare 1-2 cups rice
- Take 1 Chopped onions
- Take 1 tbsp Cumin seeds
- Take 1 Knorr chicken cube
- Take 1 tsp Ginger garlic paste
- Take to taste Salt
- Make ready Garnish
- Prepare 1 onion
- Take 1 tomato
- Get 1 capsicum
- Make ready 1-2 green chillies
Add marinated chicken, and cook till done. Lastly add chopped coriander and green chilies. Meanwhile, trim, then slice the spring onion finely. Add chicken and toss until fully coated.
Instructions to make Tandoori Chicken with Garlic Rice:
- Marinate chicken in all these spices for atleast One hour.
- Now heat a pan add little bit of oil and cook chicken on medium flame until its tender. Keep it saucy (like thick paste easy to pour on rice) do not cook it too much so all the gravy dries up.
- Now burn a small piece of coal until its red hot. It takes 1-2 minutes. Place a small piece of foil or any thick paper in the chicken. Place burning coal on it. Pour 1 tbsp oil so the smokes comes out and cover the pan immediately for 1-2 mins.. Uncover after 2 mins and take out the paper and coal.This chicken would have a bar b que tandoori flavor!!
- Fry onions until golden brown.
- Add cumin seeds,chicken cube and ginger garlice paste and salt. Fry for a min.
- Now add 3-4 cups water in it
- Bring it to boil now add rice. Cook until the water dries up.
- Keep the flame very low when water dries up and cover it Turn off the flame after 10 mins.
- For garnishing-Cut the veggies in round slices
- Stir fry all of them separately in 1-3 tbsp oil just for 1-2 mins.
- Dish out to serve
