- Add the chicken and fry until it’s fully cooked and entirely browned up
- Once it’s entirety browned, pour in the remaining sauce over and cook for 3 minutes on a high flame
- Mix the corn starch with water, and pour into the chicken as you stir thoroughly
- Allow the corn starch mix to cook in, for about two minutes till it thickens to your taste
- Turn off the heat and garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds
- Note: you can also get your teriyaki sauce at the super market, without having made one from scratch. The only difference is making one yourself allows you to have control over the sweet and salty proportion of the sauce to your taste
