In a large bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth. Gradually blend in the dry ingredients. Roll rounded teaspoonfuls of dough into balls, and place onto ungreased cookie sheets.

  2. Take 3 cups all purpose flour
  3. Get 2 sticks room temp butter =1 cup
  4. Prepare 2 large eggs

  6. Get 1 teaspoon baking powder
  7. Get 1 cup granulated sugar
  8. Get 1/4 tsp salt

In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats. Combine the flour, baking soda, baking powder and salt in a medium sized bowl and set aside. Line light colored baking sheets with parchment paper and set aside.

Steps to make Sugar cookies:
  1. Preheat oven 375°F and place parchment paper on cookie sheet
  2. Cream together butter and sugar until well combined.this only took me about a minute mix in your eggs and vanilla
  3. In a separate bowl sift your dry ingredients together and slowly mix into your wet ingredients about a cup at a time
  4. Cover and freeze your cookie dough for at least 2 hours
  5. Generously flour working surface and rolling pin.roll out half of your cookie dough to desired thickness and cut out with desired cookie cutters. Dough should only be re-rolled once the rest can be rolled out with the next batch or discarded.
  6. I keep my cookies in the fridge or freezer until oven is completely preheated. If your putting colored sugar on them now would be the time to do that
  7. Bake For 7 Minutes &Check On Your Cookies..Mine Were not done yet they took about 12 Minutes total.it Depends On Your Oven but they shouldnt be brown or you Have Cooked Them Too Long and they shouldn't be Shiney or doughy on top or they are under cooked.
  8. Move to cooling rack and wait until they are completely cooled until frosting

Stir butter, oil, sugars, vanilla, eggs and pumpkin together until well incorporated.; Slowly incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet until and stir until just combined.; Scoop dough onto prepared baking sheet. Stir in the flour, baking powder, and salt. Whisk the flour, baking powder, and salt together in a medium bowl. These sugar cookies are soft, chewy and produce a flavorful bakery style soft sugar cookie! Quick and easy to make, this recipe makes cookies that turn out perfectly every single time!
